Refunds are only available for refundable fares. If you purchased a nonrefundable ticket, you will receive a flight credit (previously known as eCredit) that you may use towards travel on United within the specified time period. If United were to cancel your flight, you will automatically be rebooked on the next available flight to your destination. You have the option to reschedule on another flight, get a full refund, or keep a flight credit for a future flight on United via the United app or united.com.
